What is bright Path Mentoring?
Bright Path mentoring provides one on one support for students within the school environment. Our mentors work alongside children who may be struggling socially, emotionally, or behaviourally, helping them build confidence, develop positive coping strategies and feel more connected at school.
What types of challenges do you support?
We support students experiencing a range of challenges including emotional regulation, anxiety, behavioural challenges, low confidence, friendship struggles and disengagement from learning.
How often do students meet with a mentor?
Mentoring sessions typically take place once a week within school hours, the frequency and duration can be adjusted depending on the needs of the student and the goals identified by the school.
How do you keep teachers and students updated with progress?
We maintain regular communication with the school and, where appropriate, parents. Progress updates may include brief feedback discussions, written detailed reports of progress and outcomes at the end of the course and check-ins with relevant staff to ensure everyone supporting the student is aligned.
How do you ensure student safety and wellbeing?
All mentors hold valid working with children checks and follow schools policies and safeguarding procedures. We prioritize creating a safe, supportive, and respectful environment where students feel comfortable and supported.
What outcomes can students expect from mentoring?
Mentoring can help students build confidence, improve emotional regulation, develop positive relationships, and feel more engaged in school. Over time students may see improvements in behaviour, classroom participation, and overall student wellbeing.
What makes Bright Path Mentoring differant from other supports?
Bright path mentoring provides personalised one-on-one support focused on building trust and strong relationships with students. Our mentors work closely with schools to provide practical strategies that help students feel supported, understood and better equipped to succeed in thr school environment.
